Humble Beginnings

An online magazine I visit daily asked that we post a picture of our first or near first quilt, our favorite quilt, and our latest quilt. I dug out a quilt I made for my daughter over 20 years ago and I have to say, I had pretty humble beginnings. Take a look at that meander quilting! It makes me giggle that I was actually very proud of that free motion work. The pattern is Star Log Cabin from Eleanor Burns. The logs are stitched in the ditch and the borders are all meandered. Don't laugh, we all have to start somewhere.
