Online class

I'm taking an online quilting class from Carla Barrett called the Quilt Whisperer that is helping me look at quilts in a different way and come up with fresh, new ideas for quilting them. One exercise has me looking for designs from my environment. I've found new designs from an old trunk in my living room, scrollwork on a lamp, even the rocker on an antique chair. Last night I found some amazing designs at the Purdue Memorial Union. This was just from my first class session and I have two more to go. I love being inspired.

  1. Viki, you need to come down to my office. There are beautiful medallions on the corbels, and tin ceilings full of luscious designs.
