Not long ago I spent a few days at camp actually sewing for me. I pieced the center of this quilt and all the drunken geese for the pieced border. Today I added the plain yellow border and hopefully, before the day is over, I'll have all of the geese border added. I bought the yellow and many of the blues in Oregon last summer and the white background in Paducah 2 years ago. I loved this pattern because there is so much space to put some really fancy quilting. I am going to save it so I can quilt it with my new machine even if I do finish it up today. The picture makes the piecing look all puckery but honestly it is not.
