Fabric That Followed Me Home

Yesterday I found, though I was not looking for, fabric for my new Sampler pattern. The fabrics were for a BOM offered by the local quilt shop of which I wasn't particularly fond. Then I remembered the new pattern I had just got in Ohio. I think it will make a great marriage. I have several other 30's fabrics in my stash I can use as well. I have a couple of blocks that I really love that I think I'll switch out for the ones on the right side of the pattern and I just might enter it in the Machine Quilter's Showcase show in Kansas City this coming spring. There is a category for BOM. I am thinking I might change the flying geese for the migrating geese pattern. My husband gets so mad at me because I can't order anything just like it is off a menu (He calls me Sally from When Harry Met Sally) and I guess it is the same thing for quilt patterns. It's a sickness.
