12 Days of Christmas

Yesterday, I had a delightful lunch with my friend, Joy. She introduced me to this blog: http://temeculaquiltco.blogspot.com as well as showed me a small quilt she made from a free tutorial on the blog called The 12 Days of Christmas and I thought it was so clever. Each day of Christmas is depicted by a block with that number of pieces in the block - 1st day of Christmas is one piece and the 12th day of Christmas has 12 pieces. I'm not a fan of Civil War fabrics so will make mine from brighter colors. You have to scroll down through the blog until December 2011.
