I've spent the day working on my book club challenge. I had to choose at least 6 out of 20 words to incorporate in my piece. I chose blue, yellow, green, circle, curves, flowers, appliqué, and colored thread. The appliqué is all placed but needs to be satin stitched and I can't do that till I add the frame. The frame will be the fabric under the paper template with the yellow/orange bias trim. I will cut away the center, press the bias toward the picture, lay it over the flowers and lift the leaves so they will hang over the frame. It's been pretty complicated but I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
