Quilt of the Week

This is my first freehand since eye surgery. I must say it was a bit of a challenge trying to decide whether to put on readers and bend down closer to my work or take a step back and wear no glasses. The background is similar to what Angela Walters shows in her book, but since the borders have feathers, I tossed in a few of those along with the swirls and pebbles. The quilt belongs to Virginia who has waited patiently for it. The Celtic quilt is also hers but done with an all over design of leaves.
