I have always hated paper piecing but fell in love with a diamond log cabin at a booth in Paducah at the quilt show. It is only 26 inches square but the pieces finish at only a little more than 1/4 inch per log and there are 17 logs per diamond. I'm really making headway as you can see. Ok, not really, but at least the pattern pieces are cut.

Taking a Leap into Paper Piecing
I have always hated paper piecing but fell in love with a diamond log cabin at a booth in Paducah at the quilt show. It is only 26 inches square but the pieces finish at only a little more than 1/4 inch per log and there are 17 logs per diamond. I'm really making headway as you can see. Ok, not really, but at least the pattern pieces are cut.
