October's Mystery Clue
Once again, it is time for the Mystery Clue post, and once again, I am loving this challenge. It won't be long now before we get to see the finish and then have the fun of coming up with a quilting design to compliment it. If I had my druthers, I would have liked to had more of the light blue fabric in the quilt as that is my favorite, but I guess that just means I'll have some to make a small wall hanging. And who really knows, perhaps the next couple of clues will actually use more of it. I'm also a bit worried about the brown. This whole quilt is being made from fabric I had on hand and I am running pretty close on the brown. I do have a 2nd brown fabric design, which I have used in the center of the larger log cabins, that I can use I but hope to use mostly the original batik print. This post is a day early because my computer must go visit the diagnostician. I has decided it will not play any DVD's. The bad news is, it may be gone for as much as 2 weeks. I'll have a bunch of catching up to do when it gets back.

I'm partial to light blue as well, Viki, but I think this quilt is beautiful. Will you have it with you in Shipshewana? And wow you have a great stash of fabric. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteIt is really looking nice!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'll have it in Shipshewana. The October clue is huge with many blocks to make and I can't think of a better place to get them done.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!
