Two new dishes for Thanksgiving
I did nothing to promote heart health this Thanksgiving, but totally loved the new recipes.
I always love to try new dishes when getting together with family or friends and this Thanksgiving I gave English Shortbread a try using a ceramic mold my husband got me for Christmas last year, and yes, this is the first time I used it. It turned out beautifully. The mold made the most lovely thistle design on shortbread. Second, I tried a Raspberry Tart I saw on a blog I follow called A Quilter's Table. The blogger used to be a baker and shared her recipe. It was delicious but did take quite awhile to make, but if you ask anyone who ate it, they'll tell you it was worth the time.
