Amish Block of the Month

I finished up quilting Jan's King sized BOM. What a lot of work for her! She wanted an all over design with lots of quilting. This is a brand new pattern for me and I ran into some problems using it. I went back after it was all quilted and added more quilting. The pattern left some spaces a little too empty for me and I thought there was not reason to just accept what a pattern has. One can always go through and spice it up a bit. After all, a quilting pattern is really just guidelines, right?
