MQS - Kansas City

I just got back from Machine Quilter's Showcase in Kansas City. Wow, what amazing quilting I saw and what amazing classes I took. I learned from Deb Levy some designs for putting in huge borders that make a quilt beautiful. I learned from Claudia Pfeil from Germany, ways to quilt some very unusual quilts along with some very good ideas for quilting a friendship quilt that used rail fence as the pattern. Renae Haddadin taught me how to "show off" with background textures. And I got to know Margo, my roommate for the whole show. We laughed so much and I am anxious to see her again someday.

  1. I was at MQS, and I learned a lot, but still, I missed Rene's class-- would have loved to learned some new background fills. Always something new to learn. It was amazing!
