The quilt of the week goes to Sarah, a great young girl from the Cary Home for Girls. This is her very first quilt made from scraps provided by our quilt guild. Laurie and she worked together to pick out the fabrics and come up with the design. She finished it after 2 all day sessions. We are all so proud of her. When I talked with her, I found out she loved mythology and fairies, so I offered to quilt it with fairies in lime green. I think her quilt turned out to be a beauty.
Oh how wonderful! She will love it!
