Here are the first few steps to make a Chevron Quilt. These should keep you busy until I get mine competed far enough to add more steps. I forgot to take enough pics of my first Chevron quilt to make the tutorial. The center of the quilt will measure about 61 x 47. I added a one inch inner border and a 4 inch outer border to my quilt.

Supplies: You will need 2 three inch strips of each of 9 colored fabrics and 18 three inch strips background fabric. Two strips will make one zigzag across the quilt.

Sew each of the colored pieces to a background piece with a 1/4 inch seam.

Now cut 5 1/2 inch slices from the strip set.

Press open.
