In spite of blowing wind, snowdrifts, taking 4 1/2 hours to get home rather than the 2 1/2 hours to get there, and downing a pile of ibuprofen to cut the pain in my knee from running, I had a great retreat this weekend with dear friends. I actually got very little accomplished except visiting with buddies and getting a little progress on my little diamond log cabin. I want to get it done for the quilt show at the end of March but I'm thinking that isn't going to happen. Each little strip is about 3/8 wide and there are 17 pieces in each diamond.
That is going to be stunning, but wow that is a lot of piecing!
