I just have to praise my new Addi Turbo Lace knitting needles! At a ridiculous "twice the price" for needles, I have got to say it was worth every penny. The points are so pointy and easy to use, the yarn glides over the needles, and no more perpetually twisted cables that are always in the way. And now I can make mistakes twice as fast. The Addi's are the gold ones. Notice how relaxed the cables are. The needles themselves are so smooth and though they are metal, they do not make a lot of clicking noise. If you are a knitter and haven't tried these, you don't know what you are missing.

  4. Good tools always make the job go better, don't they? I recently upgraded to some Hiya Hiya and I was surprised how much easier the yarn moved on the needles and how much I liked the pointier points -- your shawl is very pretty - love the color. Have a great weekend -

  5. Your shawl is so pretty. Is that the 3S Shawl? I'm wondering if I will knit long enough to warrant the price of Addi needles. Did you order them online or from a shop?

  6. The shawl pattern is La la's Simple Shawl from Ravelry and it is a delight for me to knit. I'm just a beginners, only starting in November last year, and it was a perfect pattern to get me to try some lace. I got the Addi needles from an online shop but can't find the receipt to tell you which one. They were around $15, where the ones on Amazon were $18 and some of the customer reviews said they didn't send the Lace needles so I went with the shop.
