Myranda's First Quilt

I worked with a sweet young lady from Cary Home for Girls to help her make a quilt for her little 10 month old baby girl. This was her first time really sewing and this is what she made. I am so proud of her. It was such a fun time to share what I've learned over the years with someone new. She wanted it quilted with butterflies so that's what she got. I can't wait to see her face when I give it back to her.

  1. I loved that- what she did, what you did and what you did together!

  2. Lovely Viki, is that your own freehand pattern?

  3. My first quilt was a rail fence (and I was MUCH older than this girl) but I was so proud of it when it was done. So nice you could share your passion.
