I got the next clue for my mystery quilt and have got a good start on it. I had to add a 2.5 inch border and make 20 square in a square in a square. I have 5 of the blocks done. They are not the easiest blocks to keep square and would probably have been more square if I'd paper pieced them, but we all know that can make me very ill.
I am loving this mystery and find it really hard to wait a month between clues. I go to www.patchworktimes.com to check out all the other quilts being made by participants in the mystery. It is really amazing how different colors change to the look. In some the stars are very prominent and in others one sees more rectangular shapes.

I like the way the mystery is turning out. Picking fabrics when you don't know what will be where can be very challenging. Your selection is working well.
