Midnight Quilts
I finally got one of my own quilts done today. I started quilting it months ago and had to stop in the middle and just now got a chance to work on it again. I hope to get the binding on before Wednesday to show to my quilt guild so they can see a sample of what Lerlene Nevaril, our speaker and workshop presenter for May has in store for them. Though it is not likely I'll finish the binding, at least it is finished enough to give everyone an idea what is in store for them. The workshops will be Finding Hidden Blocks and Pieced Backings. The blue blocks are actually hidden blocks found in the other blocks in the quilts. It makes a nice alternate block in a quilt that is similar to the original block but because it is a bit different, it adds a little spark yet ties it all together.
