It's 2014 and ….

Time for a new Mystery Quilt from www.patchworktimes.com. This time it will be some sort of sampler type quilt and if the first 2 blocks are anything like the rest of the quilt, I'm really glad I decided to do it. I love these blocks and once again, I am not buying any fabric. It was all in my stash. I was about a yard short of the background fabric required so didn't think I'd do the mystery because I didn't want to buy any new fabric. Judy Laquidara messaged me to tell me I could substitute another fabric for sashings and it would still turn out fine so I jumped on the wagon and looking forward to the ride.



I vowed to do one customer quilt today before I could start the mystery or knit. Lucky me! The power went out and I got to knit and make the blocks. And it snowed all day. It just can't get better than that!
