I absolutely loved doing this quilt and I can hardly wait to get it bound and on the bed. Yellow and blue can always bring me out of a slump. I got most of the fabrics at Holly Hill quilt shop in Oregon a couple of years ago. I designed for days on my bamboo tablet and just had a ball. The pieced geese border was actually able to be done without stopping. It took awhile to figure out the stitch path but once I discovered it, I was able to sew it out very quickly.
Oh my GOSH - that quilt is beautiful...the quilting is stunning - I love it!!

ReplyDeleteI had to go back and look at the post of this quilt when it was still just a top, beautiful, but mostly full of potential! And you really made it look it's best, I am stunned, if the saying" the quilting makes the quilt" is true, this is the proof!
