Latest Challenge

The new Flickr challenge is up and I'm running. We had to pick 3 or less colors and make it make something for a holiday. I'm making 8 placemats to make our table more festive for Christmas and chose red and white. After cutting all the pieces, I found I was one 2 1/4 inch strip of fabric short of the candy canes. Since the fabric was all in my stash (Who knows why because I don't remember ever making anything Christmas before) there is no way to buy more, but I was lucky to find a friend on one of the chats I visit frequently who is sending me a piece. It'll be a fun project to work on at camp in September.
